LEARN|MANAGE|REPAIR|DISCOVER
As a founding member of the Orange Collar Academy, BMI is dedicated to training the next generation of electrical, computer, and network engineers the way Texas has always built tradesmen: hands on the hardware, eyes on the job, and paychecks from day one. No four-year debt load for skills you'll have to re-learn on a job site, or throwing you in the deep end and hoping you float.
Real repairs, on real equipment, from real customers. Guided by people who want you to succeed.
A four-year degree teaches you about 20% of what you actually use on the job. The other 80% is learned in the field — on live equipment, under pressure, alongside people who have already done it.
This is not a hobby class. BMI training is done alongside structured, continuing-education coursework to build the actual skills employers are hiring for — explained, practiced, and tested in real industry situations.
Learn how to map, monitor, and manage hundreds of devices on a digital network that you may or may not have developed yourself.
Anyone can run a troubleshooter. The industry needs technicians who can isolate hardware faults, trace them to their root causes, and fix them. That’s what we teach.
Precision work on ASIC hash boards, control boards, and power supplies. This takes specialized equipment, a steady hand, and a deep understanding of what is happening on the silicon.
Power, cooling, safety, cabling, and uptime. The trade skills that turn a building full of machines into a productive operation.
BMI graduates are not one-and-done. The industry keeps moving, and so does the curriculum. Returning students step into advanced tracks that build on what they already know:
Network architecture at scale, fleet monitoring, capacity planning, and the systems that keep multi-site operations running.
Running a site as a producing business: KPIs, uptime targets, vendor management, contractor oversight, safety programs, and team leadership.
Demand response, ERCOT participation, generator dispatch, primary metering, energy arbitrage, and the regulatory side of large-load operations.
Headquartered in Palestine, Texas inside a 45,000 sq ft facility, BMI was founded in 2024 on a simple idea: the Bitcoin mining, AI, and data center industries are exploding across this state — and there is nowhere near enough skilled labor to service them.
We are building that workforce right here in East Texas, in partnership with Trinity Valley Community College, the Palestine Economic Development Corporation, and East Texas Workforce Solutions. Our students come from oil and gas, construction, the military, and the trades — and they leave ready to step onto any mine site, data center floor, or repair bench in the country.
To build the orange-collar workforce that powers Bitcoin mining, AI computing, and the next generation of American digital infrastructure — and to do it Texas-first, with the rest of the country to follow.
We want our graduates to boast about training here, and every data center in the country to look for us on the resumes they receive.
